A church family in the heart of Covington

Sunday worship at 9:00 and 10:45 in the morning, a food pantry that keeps neighbors fed, and a men's breakfast where real conversation happens over real biscuits. Whatever you're carrying, there's a seat for you here.

What Sunday looks like

No dress code, no pressure, no spotlight on the new folks. Just honest worship and a message you can actually use on Monday.

๐Ÿ•˜

Two morning services

Gather at 9:00 for a quieter, hymn-forward hour, or 10:45 for a fuller band and a busy children's wing. Both run about seventy-five minutes.

๐Ÿ“–

Teaching straight from Scripture

Pastor Daniel walks through a book of the Bible a chapter at a time, in plain language, with room for the hard questions.

๐Ÿงธ

Kids and students cared for

Nursery through fifth grade meets during the 10:45 hour with background-checked volunteers. Middle and high schoolers gather Wednesday nights.

โ˜•

Coffee on the porch

Stick around after either service. There's always a pot on, a plate of something, and someone glad to learn your name.

Started in a living room on Conyers Street

New Hope Fellowship began in 2019 when eleven neighbors pushed the couches back and started meeting on Sunday evenings to pray for Newton County. Within two years we had outgrown the house, the garage, and a rented storefront, and we moved into our current home off Floyd Street. We are still a small church by most measures, and we like it that way โ€” small enough that your absence is noticed, big enough to load a truck with groceries every Thursday.

Ways we serve Covington

Faith that stays inside the building isn't much use to anybody.

๐Ÿ›’

New Hope Food Pantry

Free groceries every Thursday from 10:00 to 1:00 โ€” fresh produce, pantry staples, eggs, bread, and diapers when we have them. No application, no proof of income, no questions.

๐Ÿณ

Men's Breakfast

First and third Saturday of the month at 7:30 in the fellowship hall. Eggs, grits, sausage gravy, a short talk, and honest conversation about work, marriage, and faith.

๐Ÿ™

Wednesday Prayer & Bible Study

6:30 in the evening, all ages. We pray through the church prayer list out loud, together, and then dig into the passage we heard on Sunday.

๐Ÿฒ

Care & Meal Train

New baby, surgery, a funeral in the family โ€” tell us and a hot meal shows up at your door. You don't have to be a member to be cared for.

Pantry volunteers needed Thursday mornings โ€” two hours, coffee provided, all ages welcome.Sign up to serve

We'd love to meet you this Sunday

Come early, park up front in the visitor spots, and look for the folks in the blue shirts. They'll walk you to coffee, kids' check-in, or a quiet seat in the back โ€” your call.
